I completed a two-year Therapeutic Reflexology Diploma with the International Academy of Reflexology and Meridian Therapy (IARAMT) under the guidance of Inga Dougans, the principal of the academy. I graduated cum laude in 2018.
During my studies, I developed a deep appreciation for the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), which I consider when developing treatment plans or offering lifestyle advice. These principles continue to influence my approach to reflexology today.
Reflexology is a gentle, holistic therapy that supports the body’s natural healing processes, often leading to positive changes in ways that may be unexpected.
Although reflexology is completely non-invasive, its ability to influence internal organs and glands—and to promote a state of deep relaxation—is truly remarkable. I have a particular interest in its effect on mood-related conditions, such as depression and anxiety.
I practice in the tranquil surroundings of Bushmans River in the Eastern Cape, where I offer personalised reflexology treatments.
